職務概要(Role Summary)

Boeing Commercial Airplane Supply ChainのProcurement Field Representativeとして、日本国内の製造業サプライヤーと最も近い立場で業務を行います。

本ポジションは、納期、供給安定、品質に関するサプライヤーパフォーマンスを支援するとともに、常にSafetyおよびQualityを最優先とした判断を行うことが求められます。

サプライヤーの製造現場に直接関与しながら、Supply Chain、Procurement、Quality、Engineeringなどの社内部門と密接に連携し、課題の早期発見から解決まで一貫して関与することで、Boeingプログラムおよび顧客への確かな価値提供を実現します。

主な職務内容(Key Responsibilities)

・サプライヤーにおける生産、調達、納入状況をモニタリングし、リスクや課題を早期に特定

・納期遵守、キャパシティ、優先順位調整等に関するサプライヤーとの直接的な調整および折衝

・社内のSupply Chain、Procurement、Quality、Engineering部門と連携した課題解決および継続的改善の推進

・是正対応においては、短期的な対処ではなく、Safety・Quality・長期的な持続性を重視

・Production RecoveryやCorrective Action等のサプライヤー改善活動の支援

・日本およびグローバル関係者向けのステータス報告、分析、レポート作成

・サプライヤーおよび社内関係者との信頼性・透明性の高い関係構築

必須要件(Required Qualifications)

・製造業における実務経験(調達、サプライチェーン、生産管理、品質等/目安:3年以上)

・会議、メール、レポート作成が可能なレベルの英語力

・サプライヤーおよび社内関係者と円滑に業務を進められる高い日本語コミュニケーション能力

・高いオーナーシップを持ち、自律的に業務を推進しながら組織やチームと整合を取れる能力

・課題解決力およびステークホルダー調整力

・各務原市または弥富市を拠点とした勤務が可能であること

・国内および海外出張に対応可能であること

採用後はボーイング・ジャパンの各務原市もしくは弥富市のオフィスにて勤務していただきます(オンサイト勤務となります)

Boeing is currently seeking a Procurement Field Representative based in Nagoya/Gifu, Japan.

Role Summary

As a Procurement Field Representative, you will work at the closest interface between Boeing and its manufacturing suppliers in Japan.

This role is responsible for supporting supplier performance across delivery, supply stability, and quality, while ensuring that Safety and Quality are always the foundation of decision-making.

You will engage directly with supplier production sites and collaborate closely with internal teams including Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, and Engineering.

This position offers hands-on ownership—from early issue identification through resolution—allowing you to make a tangible impact on Boeing programs and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor supplier production, procurement, and delivery performance, identifying risks and issues early
Work directly with suppliers to address delivery commitments, capacity constraints, and prioritization challenges
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to resolve issues, drive continuous improvement, and propose practical, data-driven solutions
Ensure corrective actions prioritize Safety, Quality, and long-term sustainability
Support supplier improvement initiatives, including Production Recovery and Corrective Action plans
Prepare clear status updates, analyses, and reports for stakeholders in Japan and globally
Build trusted, transparent relationships with supplier partners and internal teams

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience in manufacturing-related roles (procurement, supply chain, production control, quality, or similar)
Business-level English proficiency for meetings, emails, and reporting
Strong Japanese communication skills for effective engagement with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Ability to work independently with a strong sense of ownership while aligning with team and organizational priorities
Proven problem-solving and stakeholder coordination skills
Willingness to work based in Kakamigahara or Yatomi and travel as required

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in aerospace or complex manufacturing environments
Experience in supplier-facing or field-based roles
Exposure to production recovery, supply stabilization, or continuous improvement initiatives
Experience working in global or cross-cultural teams
Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools

Aerospace experience is not required. Candidates with strong manufacturing backgrounds are encouraged to apply.


Location:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Boeing Kakamigahara or Yatomi, Nagoya region office.
