Tokyo Barco

Job Description:

The position enables Barco APAC regional Sales Teams to prospect, evaluate and qualify opportunities, present Barco products and services to their Partners and End User customers. This role will also be responsible for the activation of partner sales organizations throughout Japan and APAC, enabling them to present and demonstrate the Barco Healthcare Division's Imaging, Value Propositions to key prospective End User Hospitals, Imaging Centers, and other care facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of sales professionals in the assigned region by owning and exceeding annual sales targets within assigned territory with the team.
  • Hunt new end customers and/or new contacts at different levels of the targeted account.
  • Support lead generation via shows/demonstrations/sales floor engagement etc.
  • Market the company, ensuring that the organization receives positive exposure to enhance the brand image in the region.
  • Follow up on leads identified at end customer level by the Business Development team or coming from the consultant team: analyze the customer's needs and provide the appropriate value proposition in return. Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Provide and achieve meaningful consolidated sell-in forecast from Partners' Regions on a monthly basis as per Barco financial forecasting methodology. Own and deliver on sales forecast to ensure close follow-up.
  • Drive the partner sales teams to uncovered accounts and sales opportunities by identifying and listing accounts which are not currently in the Barco sales funnel, aligning the Partner sales organization to work with Barco on said accounts, and facilitate a functional sales model including but not limited to Partner Sales Reps, Barco BDR's, sales engineers, to move an opportunity into the Barco sales funnel and close business.
  • Monitor technology and market factors and provide market intelligence to Sales management and Segment marketing.

Required Experiences:

  • Bachelor or Master degree (business, marketing, engineering) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7-10 years of proven sales experience in related industries/technologies.
  • Strong and assured communicating and presenting skills, able to gain personal credibility with client managers.
  • Able to work across organizational and international boundaries.
  • High-level sales negotiating skills with outstanding relationship building abilities.
  • Good English & Japanese communication skills.

Salary: Estimated salary is around $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
