Jefferies has been expanding its business in Tokyo, and we are now looking for a dedicated person in our Settlement team. Jefferies utilizes Fidessa as the front and middle office system and I-STAR as the back-office system.
Qualification:
- Minimum 2 years of working experience at settlement team (product is Japan Equities) for Analyst level.
- Preferably settlement experience in both Japan domestic and offshore.
- Must be able to resolve multiple exceptions and queries through to resolution in a time-critical environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to expand learning across business and to grow with the organization.
- Strong PC skills, particularly Microsoft Office software.
- Fluent Japanese and Business level English.
Job Description:
- Since core settlement is supported by Citibank as a vendor (Third Party Clearing), settlement team at Jefferies supports exceptions, fails, mismatch, unmatch, etc.
- Uses Citibank system (CDS), Broadridge system (Gloss) and I-STAR mainly.
- Communication is mainly done with Citibank, internal MO teams and client back office.
