Responsibilities:

In accordance with regulations of security trade control, you will be responsible for carrying out screening operations (classification and transaction screening) and appropriate inward / outward control operations, to ensure the products and technologies Thales hands are properly imported and/or exported.

Thales imports and exports a wide range of goods and technologies, including defense equipment manufactured by Thales overseas offices, equipment and civilian products used by research institutes etc., and civilian products manufactured in Japan. Through screening work, you could be involved in a variety of projects thus broadening your knowledge.

Requirements:

  • University/ postgraduate/ technical college graduate
  • Experience in international trade administration (import/export)
  • Experience in the classification and transaction work of manufacturers and trading companies for compliance and transaction examination.
  • Experience in inward / outward control.
  • Experience in security trade control (e.g., determination of classification/ transaction review, inward / outward control/ technology transfer control, etc.).
  • Ability to read and understand laws and regulations related to export control.
  • Intermediate level of Excel (data input and tabulation using functions).
  • Experience in document management (document management based on the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act and the Electronic Bookkeeping Act).
  • Able to communicate smoothly with relevant parties. Good coordination skills.
  • Business English.

    • Desirable skills

  • Experience or knowledge of handling machinery such as electrical equipment, precision equipment, machine tools, etc.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in trade management and the fundamentals of laws, regulations and business.
  • CISTEC/ Security Export Control Practice Test
  • Experience in customs audit (post inspection).
  • Qualification as a safety officer in charge of handling explosives, toxic substances and deleterious substances.
  • We are looking for someone who can support projects (administrative work) as part of the Back Office.

  • 輸出管理関連法令の読解ができる方
  • Excel中級レベルの方(関数を使用したデーター入力、集計業務)
  • 文書管理のご経験をお持ちの方(外為法、電子帳簿保存法に基づいた文書管理)
  • 関係者と円滑なコミュニケーションができる方。 協調性のある方。
