We are looking for experienced HVAC Controls Technician/BAS Technician to help us in US Military Construction Projects in Okinawa, Japan.

Responsibilities
- Create project submittals
- Create shop drawings (using AutoCAD)
- Programming DDC Controllers (BACnet and Niagara protocol)
- Provide technical instructions to field technicians
- Performing start-up, commissioning, and testing
- Performing OJT for the end-user upon project completion
- Troubleshooting control systems
- Assist with estimating when requested
Qualifications
- Understanding of electric/electronic circuitry, HVAC Systems, Building Control Systems (DDC, BMS, BAS, etc.).
- Basic MS Office skills
- Physically fit to climb ladders and work in hot climates (ex. mechanical rooms)
- Required to collaborate with internal and external sections/departments/clients
- Motivated team player
- Obtain Japanese Driver's License within first (6) months of employment.
- Business level English (speaking, reading, writing)
Salary
230, ,000 JPY/month
*Salary will be determined based on skill and experience
Bonus
Twice a year (July and December)
Base salary x 2.0 total (Results from previous year is 3.0)
Work Location
Ginowan City, Okinawa *Work location may change due to personnel changes such as reassignment, transfer, and secondment.
Employment Type
Contract (1 year) with prospect of permanent employment based on performance.
