We are looking for experienced DDC Estimators to help us in US Military Construction Projects in Okinawa, Japan.

Responsibilities
- Review and analyze project requirements (scope of work, drawings, specifications, site conditions, etc.), evaluate costs, and creating a detailed estimate for budgeting, bidding and project planning for DDC/BMS/BAS related works.
- Seek new vendors to compare and improve costs.
- Collaborate with internal team and other sections/departments to accomplish tasks. Strong communication skills and teamwork required.
- Communicate with client for project requirements (*Japanese and English language).*Assistance will be provided for communicating with Japanese clients, but would require an effort to learn and improve Japanese skills.
- Design review.
- Create purchase orders for controls material.
- Assist PM and Programmer when required.
Qualifications
- Understanding of electric/electronic circuitry, HVAC Systems, Building Control Systems (DDC,BMS, BAS, etc.).
- Japanese Driver's License within first (6) months of employment.
- Business level English (speaking, reading, writing)
Salary
220, ,000 JPY/month
*Salary will be determined based on skill and experience
Bonus
Twice a year (July and December)
Base salary x 2.0 total (Results from previous year is 3.0)
Work Location
Ginowan City, Okinawa*Work location may change due to personnel changes such as reassignment, transfer, and secondment.
Employment Type
Contract (1 year) with prospect of permanent employment based on performance.
