About the Team/Role
Entrupy Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Manager to oversee our Luxury Authentication Operations team based in Japan. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing a team of luxury authentication professionals, ensuring the team meets and exceeds service level agreements (SLAs) through high-quality and efficient processing. You will play a critical role in driving the success of our luxury authentication operations by implementing strategic objectives, analyzing performance data, and continuously improving operational processes.

What you'll do:

  • Develop actionable recommendations for operational productivity, quality control and accuracy

  • Optimize operational efficiency through rostering and workflow management to achieve SLA goals while maintaining quality

  • Review team performance metrics to identify key areas for team knowledge, process and system improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Knowledge team to identify and overcome the knowledge gap
  • Enforce authentication policies and SOPs
  • Coordinate with CX and BD to monitor and address high-risk customers

  • Hire and develop the authentication operation team members, ensuring a positive work environment

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback

  • Offer guidance to team members, identifying opportunities for skill development and career progression.
  • Demonstrate effective leadership to the regional Authentication Operations team, fostering a positive and collaborative culture and continuous improvement.
  • Hiring and performance management of the regional Authentication Operations team

  • Facilitate cross-functional communication to ensure effective collaboration across multiple geography and diverse backgrounds:

  • Collaborate effectively with global teams across different time zones to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with various stakeholders to align on goals and drive continuous improvement.

What you bring

  • Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the luxury fashion or resale industry, preferably with a focus on authentication or assessment of luxury items.

  • 5+ years of experience in leadership roles, managing and collaborating with diverse teams across different backgrounds.
  • Proven track record in managing remote teams with a demonstrated ability to operate efficiently in a virtual environment.
  • Strong background in analyzing operations data and implementing improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.

  • Skills

  • Excellent leadership and people management skills

  • Strong communication skills (both in English and Japanese), particularly in collaborating with stakeholders across different functions and time zones
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to leverage data to make strategic operational decisions
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-growing startup environment.
