Background
To strengthen our robotics product development team, we are hiring an experienced hardware engineer specializing in electrical and electronic system design. This role plays a critical part in supporting both prototyping and mass production of high-reliability robotic systems for field deployment.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for one or more of the following:
Design and evaluation of control boards, sensor boards, and power systems (analog and digital)
Circuit architecture around microcontrollers and SoCs, including power circuit design
Implementation and testing of communication interfaces (CAN, UART, SPI, Ethernet, etc.)
Reliability design, including EMC mitigation and thermal considerations
Debugging and validation of prototype boards; support for design adjustments prior to mass production
Technical coordination with EMS vendors and component suppliers
Collaboration with firmware engineers to align specifications and validate system-level functionality
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of hands-on experience in analog and digital circuit design
Proficient in circuit debugging and evaluation using tools like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer or KiCad
Solid understanding of hardware development within a multi-disciplinary product team
Preferred Qualifications
Background in robotics, embedded systems, industrial automation, or mobility devices
Knowledge of EMC design, safety standards (e.g., CE, UL), and regulatory compliance
Experience with mass production and factory coordination
Familiarity with ROS and collaboration with embedded firmware/control teams
