Fully Remote – Ideal location Chicago, IL area

We are looking to hire a Sales Executive to cater to the discrete manufacturing sector. In this role, you will be responsible for selling FORCAM's leading MES Software to both existing and new accounts within your designated territory. Preference will be given to candidates residing in the Chicago, IL area.

Responsibilities include:

  • Review and evaluate pre-existing leads and new prospects, arrange sales meetings, and establish connections at all organizational levels to identify opportunities and finalize deals.
  • Analyze the potential ROI of trials and convincingly communicate this to decision-makers to secure agreements for ongoing product use, expedite implementations, and close sales.
  • Maintain records of prospecting and sales activities using a CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to contribute to the development and evaluation of long-term strategic plans; participate in forecasting budgets and revenue targets for both yourself and the team.
  • Establish partnerships with local business groups, industry associations, and other relevant third parties to promote the adoption of Advanced Shop Floor Management (MES) software.
  • Keep abreast of market trends and the evolving needs of manufacturing businesses.

The ideal candidate will be dynamic, organized, proactive, and possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree – preferably in an engineering discipline or a related field
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in B2B IoT Software Sales
  • Manufacturing industry sales experience is essential
  • Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in target markets such as Aerospace, Automotive, General Manufacturing, and Medical Devices
  • In-depth understanding of industrial production processes
  • Demonstrated capability to facilitate high-level executive meetings and deliver effective product demonstrations
  • Evidence of quantifying financial ROI resulting from product utilization
  • Sense of urgency
  • Ability to travel moderately, around 25% to 30% of the time, including quarterly visits to Cincinnati, OH, and occasional trips to Germany
  • Valid passport or the ability to acquire one
