mybest is one of Japan's most extensive product comparison and recommendation platforms. Since launching our global business in 2017, we've expanded to 8 countries and regions. We're now hiring to accelerate growth in Taiwan.
The Role
This role will be responsible for creating social media posts and videos, managing design and data collection, visualizing and analyzing results, and developing campaign proposals. Using various social media platforms, you will turn user behavior insights into actionable proposals that improve product experience, conversion (CVR), and user experience (UX) for Taiwan users. You'll work from within Japan while using Taiwanese Mandarin (Traditional Chinese) and leveraging your deep understanding of the local market to drive business growth.
What You'll Do
Social media operations and content marketing
- Plan and manage posting calendars; publish and distribute content
- Write strong copy (Traditional Chinese), tailored to Taiwan audiences
- Set goals, track performance, and run iterative improvements
- Design and execute creative campaigns to increase engagement
- Own planning for posts and short-form video across Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and similar channels
Data collection and visualization
- Analyze post performance and optimize content strategy
- Collect and analyze competitor data, user signals, and online buzz/virality indicators
- Produce a structured monthly social media report
Workflow optimization and product improvement proposals
- Monitor and summarize operating and traffic metrics; propose improvements
- Analyze user acquisition paths and funnel performance, then propose data-driven strategies to improve CVR, activity rate, UX, and retention
- Use product/admin data to plan initiatives that grow traffic and followers

Required Qualifications
- Native-level or equivalent Taiwanese Mandarin (Traditional Chinese)
- Strong familiarity with Taiwan culture and market
- Japanese ability equivalent to JLPT N3 or above
- Basic PC skills (primarily Google Workspace, Slack, Chatwork)
- Hands-on Google Analytics skills
- Excel skills (functions, pivot tables) and general Office proficiency
- 6+ months of social media operation experience (brand account, personal channel, or marketing project are acceptable)
- Short-form video planning and scriptwriting; able to use editing tools (e.g., Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut)
- Visual layout + writing skills for image/text content; able to use design tools (e.g., Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva)
Preferred Qualifications
- Comfortable with weekly analytics reporting, aggregating data from social media content, issue diagnosis, and providing insights and recommendations
- Deep familiarity with Facebook / Instagram / Threads and their best practices
- Knowledge of paid advertising operations on Facebook / Instagram / Threads
- Experience using data to share user behavior trends with content/editorial teams
- Analyze customer behavior and build predictive models to identify specific target segments and potential for new segments to maximize advertising and marketing effectiveness
- Broader practical digital marketing experience

Work Style
- Company-wide remote day every Wednesday (hybrid: 1 day/week remote)
- Overseas return travel support: up to 5 days of remote work allowed during trips back to home country (eligible employees after 3 months; subject to manager approval)
