Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity for a proactive and data-driven Social Media Specialist to join our Customer Engagement team in Tokyo.
If you have a deep love of Warhammer, extensive knowledge of Japanese social media marketing channels, and a genuine passion for ensuring our global marketing campaigns continue to inspire and engage both new and existing hobbyists, then this could be the perfect role for you.
Collaborating closely with the Marketing Manager and wider Customer Engagement team, you'll take the lead in creating, selecting, localising, and scheduling compelling social content that not only resonates locally but also reflects what is right for Games Workshop, our IP, and our customers.
Whether it's a launch campaign, a community spotlight, or a real-time trend, your creative and thorough approach will generate excitement in spaces where Japanese Warhammer fans spend their time, while staying true to Games Workshop's distinctive style, clarity, and tone.

As our Social Media Specialist, we'll look to you to generate ideas for new content by drawing inspiration from the local community, preparing clear and detailed briefs, and scheduling posts in line with the social media planner.
With your meticulous attention to detail, you'll translate and proofread content to ensure it feels culturally relevant and genuinely resonates with our Japanese Audience.
You'll monitor and manage comments and reactions across our social channels, respond to questions, and help create a safe, welcoming environment for all Warhammer fans.
Alongside this, you'll conduct social listening around key topics and campaigns, track performance, and share regular insights on engagement, reach, sentiment, and audience growth.
Your inquisitive and consistent approach will help us continually refine our content and better understand how the Warhammer community in Japan connects with us online.
To be successful in this role, you'll bring demonstrable experience in delivering marketing content across multiple social channels, including X, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and LINE.
Having an existing interest in and knowledge of all our exciting universes, including Warhammer Age of Sigmar, Warhammer 40,000, and related games, novels, and miniature ranges, will be a definite advantage.
You'll also be proficient with Google Suite, , and digital asset management systems
