【仕事内容】

■role Overview


As Social Media Specialist, you will play a role in shaping the brand's digital voice and consumer engagement strategy across key Japanese platforms, including X, @cosme, and LIPS.

This role goes beyond content execution requires a strategic mindset to translate consumer insights into actionable business intelligence, influence crossfunctional planning, and drive brand equity in a highly competitive market.

You will be responsible for managing content, campaigns, and budgets, while also leading social listening efforts to inform product development, marketing strategy, and retail activations.

Your work will directly impact how the brand connects with Japanese consumers and adapts to evolving beauty trends and digital behaviors.

■key Responsibilities

Strategic Content Planning & Execution


Develop and execute platform-specific content strategies for X, @cosme, LIPS, and other relevant channels, ensuring alignment with brand positioning, campaign objectives, and consumer expectations.

Integrate retail and store activations into the broader digital narrative to drive omnichannel engagement.

Campaign & Budget Management

Oversee social media campaign planning and budget allocation, ensuring optimal resource use and measurable ROI. Collaborate with internal teams to align campaign KPls with broader marketing and business goals.

Performance Analytics & Reporting

Deliver regular performance reports and strategic dashboards that go beyond metrics-providing insights, learnings, and recommendations to inform future initiatives. Present findings to internal stakeholders and global HQ to support data-driven decision-making.

Global & Local Alignment


Act as a strategic liaison between Japan and global HQ, ensuring local execution reflects global brand guidelines while adapting to the nuances of the Japanese market.

Provide feedback to HQ based on local insights and consumer behavior.

Cross-Functional Collaboration


Partner with Product Marketing, PR, E-commerce, LINE, and Retail teams to codevelop integrated campaigns that leverage social media as a key consumer touchpoint.

Contribute to 360° planning with a digital-first perspective.

Social Listening & Consumer Intelligence

Lead social listening efforts to monitor brand sentiment, identify emerging trends, and uncover unmet consumer needs. Translate findings into strategic recommendations that inform product innovation, content development, and risk mitigation.

Trendspotting & Innovation

Stay ahead of evolving beauty trends, platform algorithms, and consumer behaviors.

Proactively identify opportunities for digital innovation and pilot new formats or engagement models to keep the brand at the forefront of social media excellence.

【応募資格】

■required Qualifications

Native-level Japanese communication skills and business-level English proficiency.

3+ years of experience in social media strategy, digital marketing, or social listening within the beauty, luxury, or FMCG sectors.

Proven ability to extract and synthesize consumer insights from social listening tools and translate them into strategic actions.
Hands-on experience managing content and campaigns on Japanese platforms (X, @cosme, LIPS), including retail/store-related promotions.
Budget management skills and experience measuring campaign effectiveness.
Demonstrated success in collaborating with global HQ and cross-functional teams to align local execution with brand strategy.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with a passion for consumer behavior and digital storytelling.
High adaptability and resilience in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

■preferred Qualifications

Deep understanding of Japanese digital culture, social platforms, and influencer ecosystems.
Proficiency in social listening and analytics tools (e.g., Meltwater, Talkwalker, Brandwatch).
Experience leading cross-functional projects within global organizations.
