The opportunity

We are seeking a Social Media Analyst / Senior Social Media Analyst to join Fleishman Hillard's intelligence consultancy practice in the Japan office.

The role will oversee the delivery of marketing effectiveness reporting and optimization primarily for our clients in Japan, as well as for other markets in Asia.

Key responsibilities

Produce quality end-to-end analytics delivery with a focus on "social media" – particularly, social listening analytics is a big part.

Apply a deep understanding of the Japanese social landscape to analyze social listening data to drive valuable insights and strategies to help clients assess current and anticipate potential crises and trends to optimize business opportunities.

Partner with the team to provide day-to-day account management. Contribute to client relationship engagement and help clients make better-informed decisions.
Work collaboratively with agency partners in the wider network.

Requirements
A minimum of 3 years' experience in social media analytics. Any prior experience in digital agencies or in social media analytics roles in the Tech industry is a plus.

Genuine interest in working on data and insight; passionate about making actionable recommendations to make a positive impact on businesses.

Solid understanding of digital marketing, media planning, and customer experience management. Familiar with using multiple monitoring tools.
Able to hands-on manage Social, Search, and/or Programmatic campaigns (strategy, setup, and optimization).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills; ability to adapt quickly in fluid situations.

Language capability:
Business fluency in Japanese and English is essential.
