About the Team
Our team at Amazon Advertising is dedicated to helping customers find and discover what they want to buy. We provide rich digital display ad solutions, enabling advertisers to reach Amazon customers on Amazon-owned and operated sites, as well as other high-quality digital properties and millions of tablets and mobile devices.

As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for leveraging Amazon's world-class personalization technologies to drive both performance and display advertising sales across multiple platforms to small to medium-sized advertisers, retaining and growing revenue from existing advertisers, and prospecting to acquire new clients.
You will work with advertisers from various verticals, such as consumer electronics, life and leisure, consumables, apparel, and more. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with local and global sales organizations, product teams, and internal retail stakeholders.
In addition to team growth, you will have future opportunities to evolve in different departments and build your career in digital advertising.
Main Responsibilities
- Sales and Customer Service: Deliver the highest level of sales and customer service to our clients.
- Prospecting and Relationship Building: Prospect, penetrate, and create new relationships with clients.
- Driving Deals to Closure: Drive deals to closure in a new business environment.
- Retaining and Growing Revenue: Retain and grow revenue from existing advertisers.
- Utilizing CRM Tools: Utilize Sales CRM tools to track all pertinent account information and sales progress, as well as forecast and prioritize to achieve quarterly quota goals.
- Communicating with Advertisers: Communicate regularly with advertisers via email and seminars to inform them about our advertising products.
- Analyzing and Adopting Best Practices: Use a variety of tools to analyze and proactively adopt global best practices to drive scalability in our sales activities.
About the Job
The salary for this position is negotiable and can be discussed further during the interview process.
Please note that the salary range is not publicly disclosed, but it is competitive and based on industry standards.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Tokyo, Japan.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of sales experience
- 2+ years of selling advertising or advertising-like services experience
- Experience with online productivity tools such as Office 365, Salesforce or similar software
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets
- Experience in the advertising, media, or agency landscape, and proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals via new and existing business
