We are looking for a dynamic, motivated individual with strong technical, business process and communication skills to join our application development team. As a Vigience Overcast software developer, you will be at the forefront of developing advanced sales and service processes based on the worlds leading enterprise software platforms Salesforce and SAP. Your role as a software developer will require a deep dive into the technical aspects to ensure the seamless implementation of new business processes and to give your career an upward trajectory. The Vigience applications are built on top of the Salesforce platform and Vigience Overcast.
As an SAP expert at Vigience, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- You will work in a team under the Vigience development lead
- Clarification of requirements
- Provide knowledge transfer to Salesforce developers and junior team members.
- Reverse engineer SAP APIs like BAPIs and OData services and document them.
- Support Salesforce and Overcast developers with integrating SAP APIs into Salesforce.
- Write BAPIs, function modules, OData services, reports in SAP with ABAP
- Support the team with maintaining our SAP ECC and S/4HANA development systems
- You should be willing to learn Salesforce and Vigience Overcast to also support the team on this side.
- Work together with other Vigience developers and consultants on system architecture, detailed solution design, and project deliverables
- Join daily project team meetings and additional ad-hoc meetings as required
Skills And Competencies
- Minimum 10 years of experience with SAP (ideally with modules like SD, MM and LO-VC)
- University degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong communication skills in English and the Japanese language

- Previous experience with system integration and IPaaS platforms like MuleSoft or SAP CPI.
