Brief Call
: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you
Interviews
(the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities
Case study
: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

You will join Amaris Consulting as a
Cybersecurity Consultant
, supporting our client's
Cyber Risk & Advisory Team
. You will play a key role in integrating security into digital transformation initiatives, ensuring compliance with global and local cybersecurity expectations, and strengthening overall risk management.
This role involves both technical and advisory responsibilities, with regular interaction with various business units and global cybersecurity teams.
Your missions
- Support the Cyber Risk & Advisory Team in managing and monitoring digital transformation projects from a security standpoint.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective security measures protecting digital assets.
- Review and enhance the security architecture of legacy applications by identifying vulnerabilities and recommending corrective actions aligned with corporate standards.
- Provide expert guidance on incorporating cybersecurity requirements into project lifecycles.
- Conduct cyber risk assessments and follow up on unauthorized ("Shadow IT") systems to ensure timely resolution.
Offer ad hoc support including:
Assistance during cyber incidents
- Facilitating risk acceptance processes
- Performing third-party risk evaluations
Acting as a liaison between central cybersecurity teams and local business units
Cybersecurity Awareness (occasional responsibilities):
Deliver cybersecurity awareness sessions for new employees
- Support review and translation of global cybersecurity documents
- Organize cybersecurity workshops and training sessions
- Facilitate communication between the Group Cyber Resilience team and Japanese stakeholders
Your profile
- Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Risk Management, IT, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of experience in cybersecurity within an international environment.
- Strong technical understanding and hands-on cybersecurity experience.
- Solid knowledge of cyber risk management principles and industry best practices.
- Ability to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities across diverse technology environments.
- Experience conducting cyber risk assessments and developing mitigation plans.
- Ability to embed security requirements in complex digital projects.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, etc.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Japanese, with the ability to simplify technical topics for non-technical audiences.
- Certifications such as CISA, CISM, or CRISC are a plus.
