【 Job Description】

You will be primarily responsible for test design and implementation with the goal of improving the quality of multiple products, centered around the company's flagship offerings. We expect you to lead the streamlining of quality assurance processes and overall quality enhancement, and in the future, you will proactively work on test automation.

The company has established a global development structure with bases in Japan, India, and the Philippines. In this environment, an English-Japanese bilingual QA Engineer who can act as a bridge between teams is a critically important position.

【Responsibilities】

・Test planning, design, and execution

・Creation of test cases and scenarios

・Promotion of QA process improvements and test efficiency

・Collaboration with development teams, product managers, and stakeholders, and sharing of quality-related issues

・Analysis of bugs, investigation of root causes, and proposals for improvements

・Formulation of test automation plans and strategies for multiple products, including flagship offerings

・Design, development, operation, and maintenance of test automation

【Organizational Structure】

Your assigned department will be the QA team within the Innovation & Engineering Headquarters. Currently, the QA team consists of 14 members who are responsible for the quality assurance operations of multiple products.

【Career Path】

Initially, you will contribute as a QA staff member or QA Lead responsible for testing a single product. Depending on your aspirations, you can then aim to become a QA Engineering Specialist or move into a QA Team Management position. As the company is expanding rapidly, there are abundant opportunities for career advancement into management roles.

【 Requirements】

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in web-based testing and QA

• Experience in test planning, design, and execution as a QA Engineer

• Experience creating test cases and scenarios

• Experience with test automation

• Knowledge and experience in software quality management

• Business-level Japanese and English communication skills

※This role involves serving as a bridge for globally distributed hybrid teams, requiring strong communication skills in both English and Japanese.

Preferred Experiences

• Practical experience using test frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright

• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD environments using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.

• Experience developing web applications (backend or frontend)

• Experience working in a startup or agile environment

• Experience conducting performance and load testing

• Knowledge and experience using cloud environments (AWS, GCP, etc.)

• Experience as a team lead or mentor for QA engineers

• Strong commitment to quality assurance, with the ability to proactively identify issues and propose improvements
