This role involves building a data platform and fostering a data-driven organization to transform recruitment and create a significant social impact.

The company is an HR Tech firm that envisions a world where the right companies and candidates find each other, enabling both parties to grow and gain better results and new opportunities. To achieve this mission, it provides services to various stakeholders in the recruitment process, including an applicant tracking system (ATS) designed to enhance the candidate experience and improve hiring outcomes, as well as a media platform for job seekers based on the concept of a "Startup Encyclopedia for Career Transitions."

Data plays a critical role in the company's ability to grow its business and fulfill its mission. The value of its services increases by holding a vast amount of useful, up-to-date data on startups and their job openings. Furthermore, by providing recruitment activity data to companies in an accessible format, the company enables data-based discussions and decision-making, leading to more effective and improved hiring processes.

For the company to achieve its mission, it is also essential that the organization itself becomes data-driven. By leveraging data, the company can gain various insights for service development and improvement. Furthermore, by understanding user behavior, the company can provide appropriate support to users who have not yet achieved their desired recruitment results. The company believes that refining the quality of its services and providing the necessary support to ensure they are used effectively will bring it closer to fulfilling its mission.

However, the company's current data platform does not yet fully serve as a foundation for these goals. To date, the data team has focused on meeting immediate needs and prioritized agility in its activities. As a result, the current data platform faces difficulties in generating a larger impact. Efforts to transform the company into a fully data-driven organization are also still in progress.

In response to these challenges, the data team is operating with two core missions: "the construction and operation of a highly convenient, secure, and reliable data platform" and "providing support and enablement to ensure the data platform is used effectively and efficiently."

To achieve these missions, the company is seeking an individual who can identify challenges, formulate strategies to resolve them, and execute solutions while engaging relevant stakeholders.

◆Responsibilities

・Infrastructure Development: Establishing infrastructure for data collection, integration, processing, and storage.

・Observability Enhancement: Improving the observability of data pipelines to ensure stable operations.

・Data Quality Management: Implementing and managing processes to maintain and improve the quality of data.

・Infrastructure as Code: Creating and managing infrastructure resources using Terraform to ensure the data platform functions effectively.
