FP&A Senior Director
Location: Tokyo
Work Style: Hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days WFH)
Reports to: Japan CFO
Salary: 20M JPY (flexible)

About the Job
A well-established global retail organization is hiring an
FP&A Senior Director
to lead and transform its Japan FP&A function. This role offers strong business partnering exposure and the opportunity to upgrade processes, systems, and team capability.
Responsibilities
- Lead and transform the FP&A function, strengthening processes, governance, and performance management.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to drive business decisions.
- Improve utilization of ERP and BI tools (SAP / Power BI) to enhance financial insights.
- Partner closely with Japan and regional leadership on strategy and commercial priorities.
Manage and develop a team of 5–6 FP&A professionals.
Expectations
10+ years of hands-on FP&A experience.- Proven experience leading transformation and process improvement initiatives.
- Strong team management and leadership capability.
- Fluent in both Japanese and English.
- Retail industry experience preferred but not mandatory.
