About the Job
A well-established global retail organization is hiring an FP&A Senior Director to lead and transform its Japan FP&A function. This role offers strong business partnering exposure and the opportunity to upgrade processes, systems, and team capability.
Responsibilities
Lead and transform the FP&A function, strengthening processes, governance, and performance management.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to drive business decisions.
Improve utilization of ERP and BI tools (SAP / Power BI) to enhance financial insights.
Partner closely with Japan and regional leadership on strategy and commercial priorities.
Manage and develop a team of 5–6 FP&A professionals.
Expectations 10+ years of hands-on FP&A experience.
Proven experience leading transformation and process improvement initiatives.
Strong team management and leadership capability.
Fluent in both Japanese and English.
Retail industry experience preferred but not mandatory.
