About the Role: The Senior Mobile Engineer leads technical solutions for our mobile apps, delivering exceptional user experiences. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend, and embedded engineers in an integrated approach towards a unified product, focusing on creating the best companion app for motorcycles to enhance their riding experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and validate the feasibility of implementing challenging requirements.
- Research new technologies to deliver outstanding user experiences.
- Design and implement high-quality, maintainable, test-driven code in Kotlin or Swift.
- Work closely with designers to develop the best possible mobile UX.
- Develop prototypes and concept apps quickly.
- Reproduce, troubleshoot, and fix user issues efficiently.
- Continuously improve your skills.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in mobile application development.
- 5+ years of experience writing clean and maintainable Kotlin or Swift code.
- Able to fluently utilize asynchronous programming, multi-threading, dependency injection, and reflection capabilities effectively.
- Experience in writing libraries and tools.
- Strong object-oriented architectural design skills and modern app development skills.
- Ability to collaborate in English and understand technical documentation.
- Strong sense of ownership of product features and quality.
- Experience implementing mobile app design systems.
- A passion for making cars and motorcycles 1000x better than they are today.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with the Bluetooth protocol.
- Experience with mobile multiplatform development.
- Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub actions.
- Experience with SwiftUI and Jetpack Compose.
- Familiarity with Agile development environments.
- A valid driving license.
