Manager, Corporate Compliance Japan

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Corporate Compliance to join our dynamic team in Japan.

Reporting to the Japan Compliance Lead, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Regenerons compliance operations, ensuring the highest standards of ethical conduct and regulatory adherence.

A Typical Day

As the Manager, Corporate Compliance, you will:
Collaborate with the Japan Compliance Lead and Global Compliance teams on healthcare compliance (HCC) matters.
Implement and operationalize Regenerons compliance program and policies in Japan in alignment with headquarters.

Develop and refine compliance policies, work instructions, and guidance to ensure adherence to local and international regulations, including JPMA and FTC codes.

Deliver engaging compliance training programs for employees and third parties to promote understanding of applicable laws and industry codes.

Provide compliance oversight and guidance to ensure interactions with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and organizations (HCOs) are conducted ethically and in accordance with established policies.

Conduct internal reviews, risk assessments, and monitoring activities to identify and mitigate compliance risks effectively.
Partner with cross-functional teams to provide creative solutions to compliance challenges.
Support additional compliance projects and strategies as needed to enhance operations in Japan and the broader APAC region.

You have a strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and its self-regulatory framework in Japan, including the JPMA and FTC codes.

To Be Considered


We are looking for candidates with a minimum of a BA/BS degree (advanced degrees such as MBA or JD are preferred but not required) and at least 5 years of experience in healthcare compliance-related activities within the pharmaceutical industry in Japan.

A strong working knowledge of Japans healthcare compliance laws, including the JPMA and FTC codes, is essential.

Proficiency in both English and Japanese (written and verbal) is required, along with the ability to draft professional documents and guidance materials.
