Boeing Commercial Airplanes Supplier Quality team is seeking a Supplier Quality Specialist. This position is to lead audits and assessments of complex supplier's systems, processes and products. Documents and reports audit and assessment results. Provides education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives. Develops training materials and other resources to support improvements in supplier performance and productivity. This position is based in greater Nagoya area.


Position Responsibilities:

Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Primary work location is at a supplier's facility.
Under general supervision, plans, organizes and leads audits and assessments of supplier's systems, processes and products.
Documents and reports key supplier metrics, audit and assessment results to leadership and stakeholders.
Provides supplier education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives.
Evaluates and develops improvement plans for key suppliers.
Resolves routine issues and concerns.
Analyzes supplier's key performance indices and identifies areas of improvement.
Establishes Inspection Plan for supplier's products and perform inspection.
Establish Surveillance Plan for supplier's Quality Management and Production System and performs surveillance.
Performs follow-up on audit and assessment findings.
Inspects or verifies products for compliance with requirements and documents findings.
Ensures supplier notifications of quality escapes are processed.
Assists with assessments of supplier capability and capacity to perform current or potential future work.
Provides technical expertise on specific manufacturing processes to suppliers.
Investigates and resolves routine issues to ensure supplier compliance to established requirements.

Monitors quality, delivery, work in process, systemic issues and program impacts to determine needed corrective actions and improvements to supplier performance.

Interprets routine requirements and resolves supplier issues and concerns.
Leads preventive activities as well as corrective action activities with suppliers to address the root cause of quality escapes.

Drives the implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) with suppliers to shift quality approach from detection to prevention.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
3 or more years' related work experience.
Business level English (Written and Spoken)


Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Engineering Degree preferred

Quality Systems/Standards:

Knowledge of quality systems, for example, Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), Aerospace Standard (AS9100), Requirements for Advanced Product Quality Planning and Production Part Approval Process (AS9145).

Business level of Japanese (Written and Spoken)


Typical Education / Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Location:

The selected candidate will be required to work on-site (with some flex) at supplier's location in greater Nagoya Region (Nagoya-shi Aichi Pref., Handa-shi Aichi Pref., or Kakamigahara-shi, Gifu Pref.).

Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

主な業務内容:

サプライヤーの管理システム、プロセス、および製品の監査と評価を計画、編成。
重要なサプライヤー指標、監査および評価結果におけるドキュメント作成、リーダーシップ・利害関係者先への報告。
品質システム・法令遵守の重要性・および企業のイニシアチブに関する教育研修とコーチング。
主要サプライヤーの改善計画に関する評価・策定。
日常的な問題や懸念の解決。
サプライヤーの主要なパフォーマンス指標を分析し、改善の余地を特定する。
サプライヤーの製品に対する検査計画を策定し、検査を実施する。
サプライヤーの品質管理および生産システムに対する監査計画を策定し、監査を実施する。
監査および評価指摘事項のフォローアップ。
製品が要件に適合しているかどうかの検査・検証、結果の文書化。
品質に疑義のある製品の流出があった場合、サプライヤーに確実に通知をさせる。
サプライヤーの、現在または将来必要となる作業の質・量双方における能力の評価支援。
サプライヤーへの特定の製造プロセスに関する技術的専門知識の提供。
サプライヤーが各種要求事項に適合していることを保証するために、日常的な問題を調査・解決する。
納期遵守状況、仕掛作業、組織全体に亘る問題、プログラムへの影響を監視して、サプライヤーのパフォーマンスに必要な是正措置と改善の決定。
日常的に課される要求事項を解釈し、サプライヤーの問題と懸念を解決します。
サプライヤと共に予防活動と是正措置活動を主導し、品質に疑義のある製品の流出に対する根本原因に対処。
サプライヤーとの先行製品品質計画 (APQP) および生産部品承認プロセス (PPAP) の実施を推進し、品質確保のアプローチを不適合の検出ではなく予防へと変えていく。


求められるスキル(必須スキル・経験):
3 年以上の関連業務経験
ビジネスレベル以上の英語力


あれば望ましいスキル (望ましいスキル/経験):
工学学士号取得者

品質システム/規格に関するご経験:
品質システムに関する知識 (例: ボーイング品質管理システム (BQMS)、国際標準化機構 (ISO9001)、航空宇宙規格 (AS9100)、先行製品品質計画及び生産部品承認プロセスに関する要求事項(AS

学歴:
大学卒業以上(学士号など)で、 上記に関連する実務経験が3 年以上ある方(在学中期間との合算も可)が望ましい


勤務地:
採用後は、名古屋近郊 (愛知県名古屋市、半田市または岐阜県各務原市)の取引先工場内にあるボーイング・ジャパンのオフィスにて勤務していただきます
