Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time Contractor role located in Tokyo. The Contractor will be responsible for project execution, collaborating with architects, builders, and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of construction and design plans. Responsibilities include managing project timelines, monitoring quality standards, sourcing and coordinating materials, and maintaining ongoing communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and project alignment with objectives.

Qualifications

  • Proficient understanding of project management, construction processes, and site management
  • Experience in vendor and material sourcing, inventory management, and quality control
  • Knowledge of technical aspects of tiles, porcelain, ceramics, and engineered surfaces
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills
  • Ability to adapt and collaborate with diverse teams, including architects, builders, and designers
  • Proficient in project documentation and reporting
  • Ability to work effectively in on-site settings and manage project timelines efficiently
  • Proficiency in industry software/tools is an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field is preferred
  • Experience in international projects and multi-lingual communication skills are an added benefit
