In August 2022, the number of pharmacy users of the cloud medical history system surpassed 7,000 nationwide, and the service has grown to be utilized by over 15% of the pharmacy industry's top market share within six years of its release. With a funding round of ¥7.6 billion in January 2023, and an additional ¥1.8 billion in March, the company is poised for further significant business growth.

For new ventures, the company is also addressing contributions to stable supply by developing an inventory management system that supports inventory optimization through AI demand forecasting and a pharmaceutical secondary distribution service that supports inter-store transfers and pharmaceutical waste reduction.

【 Job Description】

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for backend development across the company's product portfolio.

The target products include any of the following:

Cloud-based Electronic Medical History System

Pharmacy Management Visualization Cloud

Patient Follow-up System

Pharmaceutical Inventory Management and Ordering System / AI Inventory Management

Infrastructure system for acquiring prescription data

You will work with the team—including the Product Manager, designers, frontend engineers, backend engineers, and pharmacists—taking the lead in development as a backend specialist.

You will advance the design and implementation of scalable systems that can withstand future business changes, maximizing the use of AWS managed services. You will engage in development that aims to maximize product value while balancing speed and quality, including initiatives like serverless migration and the microservice conversion of some functionalities.

Furthermore, as the product handles medical information, the required levels of reliability and security are higher compared to other fields, necessitating the individual to proceed with implementation that includes infrastructure configuration. To maintain high reliability and performance while ensuring stable, continuous development, the company is recruiting individuals who can implement and improve the application code, AWS infrastructure, and DevOps practices in the most optimal way.

Anticipated Responsibilities

Implementation using TypeScript or implementation using Python.

Database design, including RDB (Relational Database) and NoSQL databases.

Infrastructure design and construction based on AWS Serverless Architecture.

Infrastructure design and construction using IaC (Infrastructure as Code) tools like AWS CDK or Terraform.

Construction and operation of system monitoring foundations using tools such as Datadog and Sentry.

Specification formulation through collaboration with the Product Manager.

Conducting feasibility studies based on technical expertise.
