We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in Mesos, Marathon, Nginx, Linux, and Kubernetes to handle Node Provisioning, Alert/Incident Handling, OS/Middleware Updates, Security Requirement Implementation, Midnight Releases and Monitoring,Operation Manual Creation, and Risk Analysis of Production Environment Operations with one of our Global E-Commerce Clients.
Required Skills:
- Infrastructure: Private Cloud (Baremetal, VM, Container)
- Provisioning/Operation: Ansible, Ansible AWX, Helm, multiple in-house tools written in Go and operator pattern (e.g., Red Hat Operator Framework), Jenkins
- Monitoring: Prometheus, Cortex, Grafana, Kibana, Datadog, PagerDuty
- CI/CD: Jenkins
- Knowledge Tool: Confluence
- Project Management: JIRA
- Communication Tools: Slack, MS Teams, Viber
- Process Framework: Scrumban
- Languages: Go, Python, Shell Script
- English: Business level
- Experience with Mesos/Marathon
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related fields
- Experience in automating large-scale system operations
- Experience in developing middle-to-large scale applications
- Proficiency with multiple monitoring tools (Prometheus, Cortex, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, Elasticsearch, Kibana, etc.)
- Experience with private/public cloud environments
- Participation in open source activities or as an OSS contributor
Qualifications:
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) preferred
- Strong responsibility for system stability and meeting deadlines
- Deep understanding and experience in Kubernetes, containerization, and Linux provisioning and troubleshooting
- Basic knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, distributed systems, and HA structures
- Experience in large-scale system operations (100+ servers)
- Ability to adhere to top-down management and strict documentation and approval processes
- Japanese: Not required - Native Japanese speakers must have a TOEIC score of 600 or higher and be willing to continue studying English, aiming for a TOEIC score of 800 or business-level English proficiency.
