Our practice is growing and we are looking for design analysts to focus on our broad range of services including workplace strategy, real estate portfolio strategy, change management, and design guidelines.

Your Role
As a Gensler Strategist, you will conduct research and synthesize findings into insights to drive the creative discourse with our global clients.
You enjoy assisting our design studios to help set the direction of projects and ensure a seamless transition from strategy to implementation, whether digital or architectural.
You have already executed projects in areas related to design strategy and are looking to leverage your experience alongside Gensler's strategy, brand, and digital teams.
You have the desire to contribute to innovating the practice of strategy at Gensler by outlining novel offerings and partnering with client leaders to build compelling positioning.
You're passionate about the built environment and its impact on individuals and organizations.You are a self starter and quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, and open environment that requires fast iterations and pivoting between collaborative and individual work.
What You Will DoAssist designing and executing research and data collection activities across a broad range of client industries and services, including futures, innovation, change management strategy, workplace performance, occupancy and real estate portfolio strategy
Develop quantitative and qualitative tools for data analysis and collection
Interpret research to develop fresh ideas and user insights related to client business processes and performance objectives
Develop compelling communication tools to help clients understand research findings and design strategies, including workplace change and organizational transformation opportunities
Work closely with team members and clients to deliver an exceptional experience from design concept through implementation
Drive and measure impact through lens of experience, resilience, management, and execution
Contribute to business and client development activities
UX and UI research and strategy as related to program deliverables
Your Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as architecture, interior design, environmental design, urban design, real estate, design strategy, organizational development, organizational psychology, or similar fields
5+ years of relevant professional experience, executing projects in one or more areas related to design strategy, space planning, management consulting, market research, corporate strategy, real estate services, product development or related
A strong portfolio demonstrating excellent command of fundamental communication design including composition, information graphics, and persuasive writing
An enthusiastic collaborator who can work successfully with a range of other disciplines who complement your experience
Familiarity with research methodologies and activities, along with working with both qualitative and quantitative data
Can graphically visualize information and ideas, able to effectively use charts, graphics and design concepts to represent and communicate findings and complex ideas
Have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Fluent in both Japanese and English
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, and Microsoft Office 365 (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook), and other visual communication tools
Fluency with digital collaboration tools such as Miro and Microsoft Teams etc.
