Tokyo Tesla

As Demand Generation Manager – Residential Energy, Japan, you'll be responsible for co-developing the Japanese marketing strategy, leading and executing marketing initiatives localized for the market.

This role will focus on building brand and product awareness, driving demand through owned and paid digital advertising channels and delivering leads to the certified installer network.

You will also be required to support the channel network through marketing initiatives in collaboration with sales teams.

About the role:


The ideal candidate will be required to lead with influence to achieve marketing outcomes, be commercially minded and understand the importance of using data and insights to inform decisions to formulate marketing plans.


They will have hands-on experience in managing, and optimizing Google Ads campaigns to drive traffic, conversions, and return on investment (ROI) alongside the global media agency.

Responsibilities include keyword research, ad copywriting and performance analysis using tools like Google Analytics. A strong understanding of PPC strategies, A/B testing, and audience targeting is essential. You will also have strong experience in SEO and content (blogs) to help with content amplification driving sustainable growth.


You will also be required to support the development and execution of targeted email campaigns to nurture leads and drive conversions through cross-sell and up-sell strategies.

Leveraging learnings from google insights, you'll craft compelling subject lines and copy to maximize campaign performance.

You'll be curious and want to understand the "why" behind performance to help gain a better insight into our customers in order to increase leads.


You'll have an in-depth understanding of social media channels, the role it plays across the marketing mix and how to build engaging content and programs that drive both certified installer and customer engagement, whilst being highly competent in measuring impact and performance that aligns with business outcomes.

Knowledge of influencer strategies favorable.

You will be responsible for budget management, quarterly forecasting (leads) and co-developing quarterly plans for the market.

This role will lead the growth of the Google paid ads program, ensuring growth, optimizations and improvements across all marketing initiatives across the team.

Responsibilities:


Reporting to the Head of Demand Generation, Residential Energy, APAC based in Sydney, Australia, you'll work closely to deliver strategic and tactical marketing and digital marketing programs ~ building awareness, driving demand, uncovering insights and optimizing programs to deliver customer leads to our certified installer network.

Responsible for Google paid advertising campaigns, developing business cases to support the continuation or commencement of high investment programs.

You'll be highly competent in Google Analytics suite and be able to deliver detailed analysis of performance alongside the global media agency and analytics teams.

Proficient in delivering email marketing programs that nurture, cross-sell and upsell to audiences.
Deliver impactful social media programs to drive engagement for Energy products with end customers and the installer network (B2B).
Innovative thinker, who understands how to optimize campaigns for performance.
Lead the regional SEO efforts in conjunction with digital initiatives.
Responsible for quarterly budget management, lead forecasting and quarterly marketing plan development.
Ability to support the team across channel engagement and event management initiatives as required.
Be a brand custodian, ensuring brand guidelines are maintained across all channels.


Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Management.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Able to see the bigger strategic picture, find creative solutions and execute on that plan.
Ability to solve problems on the go, and present solutions.
Google Analytics experience required.
Indepth understanding of marketing analytics, with the ability to draw insights from data.
Ability to think differently, challenge the status quo and come up with new ways of executing.
Maintain a high sense of urgency – Tesla moves fast, so should you.
Able to work across other marketing projects not included such as at times supporting events.
Work closely with an exceptional team of marketers globally and across APAC.
Proficient in PowerBI, Google Analytics, Reporting and Analysis platforms.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Renewable energy experience a plus, but not required.
Ability to travel ~ domestically and internationally.
Fluent in English and Japanese.
