Overview
Our client is looking for an
Information Security Officer
to strengthen its governance and cybersecurity framework.
This position plays a key role in ensuring the security of the Company's information systems,
compliance with financial regulations, and the continuity of critical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage
information security governance
, including physical access, logical access, and cybersecurity measures. - Oversee
BCP (Business Continuity Planning)
and ensure readiness for incidents or disruptions. - Assess, monitor, and report on
security risks
and implement mitigation measures. - Develop and maintain
security policies, internal controls, and regulatory compliance frameworks
. - Lead or support
security awareness and training
across the organization. - Coordinate with
local authorities, auditors, and headquarters
on security-related matters.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience
in information security, cybersecurity, IT governance, or related fields. - Strong understanding of
banking systems, financial regulations, and security practices
. - Bachelor's degree
- Native or fluent Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent)
and
Business level English
, - Proven ability in
risk assessment, incident management, and project execution
. - Excellent
communication and decision-making skills
.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in
financial institutions
or other regulated industries. - Certifications such as
CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer
are a plus.
