Our client is looking for an Information Security Officer to strengthen its governance and cybersecurity framework.
This position plays a key role in ensuring the security of the Company's information systems,
compliance with financial regulations, and the continuity of critical operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage information security governance, including physical access, logical access, and cybersecurity measures.
Oversee BCP (Business Continuity Planning) and ensure readiness for incidents or disruptions.
Assess, monitor, and report on security risks and implement mitigation measures.
Develop and maintain security policies, internal controls, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
Lead or support security awareness and training across the organization.
Coordinate with local authorities, auditors, and headquarters on security-related matters.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, IT governance, or related fields.
Strong understanding of banking systems, financial regulations, and security practices.
Bachelor's degree
Native or fluent Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent) and Business level English,
Proven ability in risk assessment, incident management, and project execution.
Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience in financial institutions or other regulated industries.
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer are a plus.
