Security Engineer (Tokyo / Hybrid)

Security Engineer
to join their Technology Foundation Division, a team recognized for its excellence in DevOps, SecOps, and multi-cloud engineering.
As part of an international Security Engineering
team, you'll collaborate directly with development teams to embed security practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Your mission: safeguard complex cloud-based systems and enable secure, continuous delivery in a fast-moving DevOps environment.
What You'll Do
- Lead security reviews covering architecture, code, and solution design (threat modeling, secure design guidance).
- Define and automate security requirements for CI/CD pipelines, cloud access, and compliance.
- Perform penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and code reviews.
- Design secure coding standards and support engineers in embedding security checkpoints in their workflows.
What They're Looking For
- 4+ years' experience in cybersecurity engineering, DevSecOps, or security consulting; 2+ years in a leadership or project leading role.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Solid technical foundation in CI/CD automation, network and application security, and vulnerability management.
- Familiarity with tools such as SAST, DAST, Splunk, or Kubernetes.
- Certifications such as OSCP, CEH, CISSP, or equivalent are highly valued.
- Development experience in Python, Java, Go, or similar languages.
- Language skills: Japanese (N3 or above) and English (TOEIC 800+ or equivalent).
