Position OverviewWe are currently seeking an experienced freelance graphic designer who is fluent in both English and Japanese to support client work.
This role is ideal for a creative problem-solver who can work independently while collaborating with a distributed, cross-cultural team.Key Responsibilities
Develop graphics for presentations and other materials.
Create branding systems, visual identities, and brand-aligned creative assets.
Design digital media assets including social graphics, web visuals, and campaign creatives.
Design, lay out, and format materials using typographic, photographic, illustrative, and graphical elements.
Ensure accuracy by performing spell-checks and quality checks on all design files (in both English and Japanese when applicable).
Create print-ready files and coordinate with printers and production partners.
Collaborate with clients and internal team members to understand goals, challenges, and deliver creative solutions.
Participate in virtual team meetings to discuss project timelines, tasks, and feedback.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Fluency in both English and Japanese (written and verbal).
A strong, professional portfolio showcasing logos, mascots, branding, and digital creative assets.
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
Strong understanding of branding strategy, visual storytelling, and brand consistency.
Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across cultures and time zones.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Self-starter with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
College degree in design or a related field is a plus.
