This leadership position oversees the direction and operational management of the Strategy & Evidence Generation division within the relevant therapeutic area, while consistently demonstrating core company values.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive the development of strategy and data-generation initiatives for the assigned brand.
Create, manage, and implement the medical plan for the brand — including budget and resource allocation — in close partnership with the MSL Director and aligned with overall brand strategies.
Lead, mentor, and grow team members to enhance individual capabilities and build a high-performing organization.
Work alongside the MSL Director to design and deliver strategic confidence-building activities.
Support the Therapeutic Area Head in elevating the medical organization, ensuring the execution of high-quality, industry-leading medical initiatives, and strengthening collaboration with cross-functional partners such as brand teams and R&D teams.
Requirements
Strong background in overseeing external sponsored studies as well as company-led non-interventional research.
More than 5 years of experience in the oncology field.
Professional experience within Medical Affairs or R&D in the pharmaceutical industry.
Proven track record in project management within a pharma environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships and external partnerships.
Previous experience in leading and managing people.
