About Intuition Robotics
Intuition Robotics is on a mission to empower older adults to live happier, healthier, and more independent lives at home. Our award-winning AI companion, ElliQ, was designed specifically for older adults to support aging in place by promoting social interaction, proactive care, and well-being.
Founded in 2016 and backed by world-class investors including Toyota Ventures and Samsung NEXT we operate globally from Tel Aviv, San Francisco, Athens and Tokyo. We're now expanding our team in Japan, a society with one of the largest aging populations in the world, and we're looking for a talented, passionate Character Content Writer to shape the personality of EllIQ, adapt and launch the very first version of ElliQ for Japanese older adults.
Position Overview
We are looking for a Character Script Writer to join our Japanese team, you will be responsible for shaping ElliQ's personality and presence for the Japanese market.
You will define how ElliQ speaks, expresses empathy, and builds trust - creating a character that feels warm, respectful, and deeply aligned with Japanese culture and older adult values. Your work will influence ElliQ's tone, conversational style, emotional expressions, and character behavior.
You will collaborate closely with the UX, Product, and R&D teams to translate complex interactions into intuitive, conversational experiences. You will create a character that feels less like a device and more like a natural, trusted presence in the home.
Key Responsibilities
- Script Conversational Interactions: Ideate, design, and script engaging conversational interactions for human-robotic communication.
- Own the Japanese ElliQ Character: write and create personality that will fit to the Japanese Older adults.
- Expand and refine ElliQ's unique character to enhance its expressiveness and relatability.
- Leverage LLM Technologies: Utilize the latest advancements in language models to craft natural and meaningful conversations.
- User Research: Conduct research on real user experiences and interactions to inform and refine conversation designs.
Requirements
- Experience: Understanding digital content design, script writing, or content writing . This position is relevant for graduates - Copywriting/ Japanese and English Literature/ Journalism and ect.
- Language Proficiency: Native Japanese speaker - A must.
- A high proficiency in English - A must.
- Digital Excellence: Proven ability to define, socialize, test, iterate, and deliver exceptional digital experiences.
- Team Collaboration: Experience working within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment, adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in conversational design or VUI design.
- Familiarity with conversational design tools including LLMs
- Educational background in writing, cinema, linguistics, literature or a related field.
