A Japan-based robotics company specializing in autonomous mobile robotic systems is expanding
its engineering team. The organization develops intelligent mobile platforms designed to integrate
with existing industrial and IoT infrastructure. These robotic systems operate safely alongside
human workers and are deployed in real operational environments across multiple industries.
Position Overview:
The Electrical & Electronics Development Engineer will be responsible for board-level hardware
design within robotic products. The role covers the full product lifecycle from requirements definition
and prototyping through to manufacturing documentation and mass production support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, prototype, review, and validate custom PCBs for sensor interfacing, power distribution,
- Own schematic capture, PCB layout coordination, and hardware debugging activities.
- Design and evaluate wire harness assemblies to ensure reliable system-level integration.
- Select and validate electronic components considering thermal, noise, vibration, and

- Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, software, QA, and manufacturing teams.
- Prepare manufacturing documentation including schematics, Gerber data, drawings,

- Conduct root-cause analysis on hardware failures and implement design improvements for

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in electronics development.
- Experience in PCB and circuit design for product-level applications.
- Experience designing and evaluating wire harness assemblies.
- Ability to perform component selection based on system requirements and specifications.
- Hands-on hardware debugging using oscilloscopes, power supplies, and measurement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in diagnosing hardware issues.
- Business-level proficiency in either English or Japanese.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer.
- Experience in power electronics design (DC/DC converters, LDO, POL).
- Experience designing microcontroller-based and analog circuits.
- Familiarity with sensor interface protocols (SPI, I2C, differential signaling).
- Knowledge of BLDC motors and lithium-ion battery systems.
- Practical understanding of EMI/EMC, noise mitigation, ESD protection, and thermal
- Experience using circuit simulation tools (e.g., LTspice, PSpice).
- Experience managing the product lifecycle from prototype to mass production.
