We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Job Summary:

This job is responsible for acquiring, managing, and expanding relationships with PayPal's large enterprise commercial merchants. The Sr Account Representative collaborates internally, understands best practices, and influences the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of processes and programs. They work outside of defined processes to determine appropriate actions while considering alternative solutions.

Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Pursue net new business through strategic prospecting and drive the sales cycle from prospecting to close.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders during the initial sales cycle, acting as a trusted advisor by understanding clients' challenges.
  • Analyze customer needs via discovery, articulate value, and develop strategies tailored to each organization, identifying potential products in collaboration with solutions architects.
  • Deliver customized presentations, written proposals, and provide subject-matter expertise to drive forward new sales opportunities.
  • Negotiate and close complex customer contracts, determining project scope, timeline, pricing, and agreements, ensuring seamless contract execution and customer onboarding.

Expected Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
