Data Center Critical Facilities Engineer II

We are seeking a skilled Data Center Critical Facilities Engineer II to join our operations team in Tokyo.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining critical facilities infrastructure, ensuring the reliable operation of data center equipment, and providing excellent customer service to our clients.

As a Critical Facilities Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues, implement process improvements, and develop solutions to complex problems.

You will also be responsible for performing daily rounds, monitoring systems, and conducting tests to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain critical facilities infrastructure, including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems
  • Perform daily rounds, monitor systems, and conduct tests to ensure optimal performance
  • Identify and resolve issues related to facility operations, power management, and cooling systems
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and develop solutions to complex problems
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • TOEIC score of 600 or higher (required by hiring date)
  • Japanese language proficiency at N1 level (required by hiring date)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
