About the Role
We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong expertise in designing and drafting mechanical components for advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
The role includes mechanical development, design improvement, evaluation planning, BOM creation, CAD modeling, testing, troubleshooting, and working on dry etching equipment and process chambers.
You will be engaged in end-to-end mechanical design projects using 2D and 3D CAD tools and will collaborate with engineering teams to enhance product performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Design and drafting of mechanical parts for semiconductor dry etching process chambers and related units
- Mechanical development, analysis, testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting of equipment functionality
- BOM creation, documentation preparation, simulation analysis, and product validation
- Perform 3D CAD modeling, structural design, experimentation, and verification of designed equipment
- Engage in full-cycle product development from design to testing in collaboration with client teams

Must-Have Requirements
- Japanese Native or JLPT N2 and above
- 5 to 8 years experience in Mechanical Design (Automotive, Semiconductor, or Mechanical Engineering)
- Minimum 2 years practical experience in 2D CAD design
- Experience in improvement and enhancement activities beyond routine engineering tasks
- Valid work authorization in Japan
- Experience with 3D CAD tools (Solid Edge, UG NX, Catia, SolidWorks, Creo)
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals (materials, heat, fluid, dynamics)
- Simulation analysis experience (structural, strength, thermal)
- Experience with Teamcenter
- Hands-on design verification and experimentation
- Full annual salary system (paid monthly)
