Overview

ISS STOXX is seeking full-time Research Assistants for the upcoming Korean Annual General Meeting season in 2026. This position will be based in Tokyo and would run Mid of January-End of March 2026.

Responsibilities

Collect data and perform corporate governance and financial analysis to issue proxy vote recommendations for shareholder meetings of publicly listed companies in Korea;
Work independently and collaborate with the team to produce research reports under strict timeline;
Handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment;
Engage with company representatives, if needed.

Qualifications

Economics, finance, business, law, or political science preferred but ALL disciplines are welcome;
Capacity to learn quickly and execute accurately;
Goal-oriented, detail-oriented, analytical, self-driven and a true team player;
Possesses a keen sense of judgment and organizational skills;
High proficiency in Korean and English;
Proficient in the use of web-based and Microsoft Office applications
