Job Description
The Windows Client Engineer will be responsible for the windows endpoint management tools and administration. The individual will join a team as a subject matter expert (SME) designing and supporting our Windows Build and Packaging processes. We are looking for an individual who has a proven track record designing and deploying secure Microsoft Windows PC and Server Operating Systems and applications in a large enterprise. The position will require an individual experienced in system design and integration; best-practice security configuration; PC and server hardening; process automation and improvement. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills, who works well with a team of peers and as a directly responsible individual with minimal supervision.
Required Skills
- Advanced knowledge of Windows 10
- Platform Build Knowledge of Windows 11.
- Advanced knowledge of Building\Managing Thin Clients
- Advanced knowledge of Building\Managing Laptops
- Advanced knowledge of BIOS and Driver Management
- Strong knowledge of HP Hardware and HP Management technologies
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Deployment Toolkit
- Advanced knowledge of SCCM CB OSD
- Strong knowledge of VMWare Horizon View
- Advanced knowledge of PowerShell Scripting
- Excellent Documentation skills (HLD & LLD)
- Proven ability to work in global companies and delivering infrastructure across multiple geographies
- Good knowledge of ITIL processes and framework
Desirable
- Good working knowledge of building\supporting multi-language Windows 10
- Good working knowledge of Windows Debugging and vendor escalation processes
- Good working knowledge of Cisco Jabber
- Good working knowledge of Cisco AnyConnect
- Good working knowledge of Cisco ISE
- Good working knowledge of Bitlocker, Windows Defender components
- Knowledge about Digital Workplace concept like Co-Management, Microsoft EMS, Microsoft 365 will be an added advantage
Languages
- Fluent English
- Japanese is not required but is considered a bonus
