【Recruitment Background】

It is predicted that many existing systems will be absorbed by AI due to the emergence of numerous AI products in the future. However, the company feels a strong sense of urgency because only a handful of engineers currently possess practical experience with AI technology.

Therefore, the company has welcomed a CTO with extensive development and management experience and has begun strengthening its capability to nurture engineers, aiming to train as many as possible with knowledge and experience in Generative AI.

【Responsibilities】

1. Planning and Requirements Definition

Planning and proposing new features utilizing Generative AI, through to detailed design.

UX optimization through prompt engineering.

1. Technical Validation and Implementation

Developing PoCs (Proof of Concepts) utilizing LLMs (such as Azure OpenAI Service / LangChain).

Backend implementation and performance tuning using Python / SQL.

Validation and improvement cycles for implementation results.

1. Strategy and Service Design

Participating in the formulation of the product direction.

Providing a technical perspective during the service planning phase.

1. Coordination and Collaboration

Customer interviews through requirements organization, and consensus building with related departments.

Documentation and presentation of technical proposals.

(LLM Application Development)

Projects that build service or business system functionalities utilizing existing large language models (such as GPT / Llama). The mission is primarily focused on API integration and application logic development, rather than training the model itself.

【Forward Deployment Engineer (FDE): Deploying AI Within the Customer's Environment】

The Forward Deployment Engineer (FDE) is said to be a job category originally established by Palantir, a leader in AI implementation.

The FDE takes on a highly practical role, deeply embedding themselves in the customer's business environment to support the creation of business value through technology.

This role goes beyond simple technology introduction, taking end-to-end ownership of customer problem-solving, implementation, and operation.

The FDE is an "on-site, full-stack engineer" who "deploys" the product (general-purpose software) at the customer's site and handles everything from requirements definition to implementation and operation.

The FDE is considered the ideal engineer profile at the company.

Instead of the conventional System Engineering Services (SES) model where individual members of ATF are dispatched to companies after separate interviews, ATF FDEs go in as a team to work within SIs (System Integrators) and DX consulting firms. In AI-related projects, they undertake everything from proposal to implementation.

Experience in prompt engineering

Development experience using Azure OpenAI Service/LangChain

Implementation skills in Python/SQL

Experience in discussion and consensus building during upstream processes (requirements definition)

Ability to understand project context and drive initiatives proactively

Strong interpersonal skills for smooth communication with customers and internal stakeholders

Motivation to proactively learn new technologies and apply them to practical work

【Preferred】

Experience in building and operating infrastructure in cloud environments such as AWS

Experience in end-to-end implementation from Proof of Concept (PoC) to issue identification and improvement proposals

Experience in requirement coordination and development for customer-site projects
