Amazonの物流拠点であるフルフィルメントセンター(以下FC) は全国に20か所以上あり、在庫が保管されている棚を自動搬送してくれるロボットであるAmazon Robotics(以下AR)が導入されている拠点が増えてきています。
Central Flow Operations Team(以下CFOps)は、このAR導入FCの出荷工程における中央管制塔として、世界一安定したOperationを構築し、お客様に安定したサービスを提供できるよう、オペレーションの運営・管理やプロセスの創造・構築をする役割を担っています。
Central Flow Operations のProcess Assistant(以下CFOps PA)は、複数のFCのオペレーションを遠隔操作によりコントロールし、各FCでの生産計画達成へのアクションを遂行していくポジションです。日々のお客様の注文を納期通りに、かつ効率よく出荷していく為に、Amazon独自のオペレーションシステムやツールを用いて出荷オペレーションをリモートコントロールしていきます。
また、オペレーションコントロール以外にも、複数FCのオペレーション管理方法の標準化や簡素化等、メカニズムの構築や改善をオーナーシップを持ってリードし、現状に満足せず出荷オペレーションをより良くしていくこともCFOps PAの重要な役割になります。また、Amazonグローバルの最先端のテクノロジーのテスト運用や導入に携わることもできます。
【具体的な業務内容と業務内容の配分】
■オペレーションコントロール 65%
「コレート」と呼ばれる、お客様の注文に対しピック(在庫から商品を取り出す工程)の指示を出し、FCにてピック作業ができる状態にする操作を行います。そして、決められた時間までにピック作業が終わるように、Amazon独自のオペレーションシステムやツールを用いてコンフィグ調整をしながら遠隔操作をしていきます。ピックされた後の商品はパック(梱包)作業に入りますが、パックの仕掛り量に関しても決められた基準値内に保ち、安全で安定したパック作業ができるようにツールのモニタリングやコンフィグ調整を行います。これを1人辺り3~4拠点の複数のFCを受け持ち、同時にコントロールしていきます。
また、FCの請負会社(3PL)、またはAmazon社員から提示された出荷計画を元にオペレーションをしていきますが、計画に対し逸脱する場合は軌道修正をしていく為にFC側へ状況確認やリカバリー案の提案を都度行います。
■オペレーションプロセス/メカニズムの構築・改善 35%
FCによって異なる管理方法ではなく、可能な限り標準化された手法でオペレーションコントロールし、FC毎のオペレーションのバラつきを無くします。更に複雑な管理を簡素化し、誰がやっても同じ品質になるようなメカニズムを構築し、安定したオペレーションを確立できるように改善を重ねていきます。
その上で「これはできない」ではなく、「どうやったらできるようになるのか?」を常に考え、前進していくモチベーションが必要不可欠となります。
※本ポジションは、交代制シフト勤務(土日祝含む、夜勤あり)です。

Basic Qualifications
Speak, write, and read fluently in Japanese at a business level or above (N1+)
Knowledge of Excel at a basic level (e.g., UX navigation, math & logical functions, lookup functions, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with customers to diagnose a problem and work towards resolution
Can work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver on projects and tasks
Experience measuring key operational metrics (e.g., order cycle time, ship estimate accuracy, on-time and complete shipment, inventory record defect rate)
Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
Experience in SQL Server/MySQL, or experience with programming/scripting (Batch, VB, PowerShell, Java, C#, Chef, Perl, Ruby and/or PHP) and experience managing full application stacks from the OS up through custom applications
Experience with forecasting and statistical analysis
Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results, or experience in quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance)
Experience using data, reporting, or tools to measure performance and make adjustments accordingly
Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines, or experience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround
