TEAM The Customer Applications LoB's (Line of Business) mission is to strengthen the relationship between Woven and customers, and to co-create with customers to enhance development collaboration, productivity and automation while ensuring quality and safety.
Arene Professional Services is a department of Customer Applications and exists to transform jobs, train organizations, customize software products, develop a customer helpdesk function, and prepare others for software implementation.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We are looking for a seasoned professional with experience in Systems Engineering and Automotive Software Development who loves working in a fast paced, challenging and dynamic environment. As a Solutions Engineer in our organization, you will play a key role in designing and implementing cutting edge solutions for automotive applications and development platforms. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving innovation, optimizing performance, and ensuring the success of our automotive software products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Development and testing of solution for customers which push the boundaries of the platform using the full Arene toolchain
- Build strong partnerships with Arene teams and adapt to changes as the platform evolves
- Define and follow best practices for Arene application development
- Use, evaluate, and give feedback on tools and platforms built by Arene teams
- Train and work closely with customers to deliver next-generation vehicle applications for production vehicles
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in working with Japanese automotive industry companies
- Full professional Japanese ability, both verbal and written, high enough to negotiate with Japanese automotive OEMs
- Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
- Hands on experience in software development
- Creativity and willingness to work on things outside their comfort zone
- Excellent people and engagement skills
NICE TO HAVES
- Hands on experience in embedded software in robotics or automotive
- Hands-on experience in software development in C/C++
- Experience in Automotive Body and Dynamics domain
- Experience with functional safety (ISO26262)
- Experience with software integration and testing
- Experience working in agile/scrum environment
- Knowledge of programming languages and compiler internals
