The **JP Points Tech team** oversees the tech systems for points earning, redemption, and the comprehensive end-to-end shopping experience, covering aspects such as discovering points, displaying point balances, and more. We are actively **building local partnerships** to establish **Amazon JP Points** as popular as Yen, with plans to expand this unique loyalty program to meet the needs of customers worldwide.
**As a Senior Technical Program Manager,** you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services in a predictable manner, while meeting the technical requirements of our partners. You will provide strategic guidance and oversee tactical decision-making to successfully execute complex cross-team programs. Collaborating with program managers, you will support strategic deliverables and work closely with engineering teams on pivotal technical efforts.

Effective communication with leaders at the Director and VP levels is essential, ensuring team alignment and stakeholder awareness of key performance indicators. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 7+ years of direct interaction with engineering teams
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management collaborating with software engineering teams
- Experience in managing programs across different teams, establishing processes, and coordinating release schedules
- 5+ years of project management experience encompassing scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk management, and critical path planning
- Managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules
- Experience in defining KPIs/SLAs for multimillion-dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- Fluency in Japanese language is a significant advantage
