Job Summary
Develop business opportunities and relationships with financial institutions and achieve sales target through acquisition of new mandates.
Key Responsibilities
• Primarily cover mega banks, trust banks, life insurers, casualty insurers and specialized financial institutions
• Manage and strengthen relationships with the clients at own territory
• Identify the investment needs/objectives of target clients and provide possible solutions
• Understand and manage all business issues concerning assigned clients
• Effectively organize/manage internal resources (product managers, management, etc. both in Tokyo and overseas locations) in order to cultivate new business opportunities and retain existing mandates
• Proactively support team activities from all aspects
• Keep abreast of industry developments (i.e. regulations, competition, etc.) that may have an effect on our client base
Qualification
• BA or above
• CFA would be positive
• Experienced in sales and marketing for financial institutions, particularly mega banks, and insurance companies
• Experience of pension distribution through trust banks or asset management firms would be positive.
• Knowledgeable about the market of Japanese financial institutions and investment products
• Understand the importance of the teamwork
• Native level of Japanese and fluency in English (both in writing and verbal)
