Job Title: People and Culture Specialist
Job Summary:
A globally established retail company is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their team. This role is pivotal in managing and executing a diverse range of HR functions, including daily operations such as payroll, recruitment, and employee relations, as well as policy development, implementation, and leading various HR projects. Under the guidance of the P&C Director, the HR professional will collaborate closely with various internal departments as their HR Business Partner (HRBP). The ideal candidate will have strong HR expertise, preferably with experience in payroll or as a HR generalist, a solid understanding of labor laws and regulations, project management skills, and excellent communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle HR operations, including onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
- Act as an HR Business Partner (HRBP) for various departments to provide strategic HR support.
- Manage payroll processes and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Oversee administrative tasks related to HR functions.
- Stay up-to-date with labor laws and ensure company policies align with regulations.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources. Experience in payroll and HR operations required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong understanding of Japan labor laws and regulations.
