About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Enterprise / Solution Architect in the network domain.
This role focuses on designing and improving enterprise network and cloud architecture, while also supporting GenAI initiatives as part of the company's long-term technology strategy.
You will work closely with Japanese stakeholders, architects, project managers, and technical leaders to ensure systems are stable, secure, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
This is a senior, trusted architect role, not an operations or support position.Main Responsibilities
Define and maintain the enterprise network and architecture roadmap
Design enterprise network architectures, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud
Ensure architecture supports business goals, performance, and reliability
Lead and support GenAI-related architecture initiatives
Identify where AI and new technologies can improve systems and operations
Work with domain and solution architects to keep architecture consistent and standardized
Review and improve existing network environments
Propose and implement practical, realistic solutions
Work closely with project managers to support delivery on time, cost, and quality
Maintain architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices
Requirements
15+ years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture
Strong experience in enterprise network design (LAN / WAN / VPN / cloud)
Experience with cloud technologies, integration, and modern platforms
Recent experience working with or driving GenAI initiatives
Solid understanding of network, routing, switching, and security concepts
Ability to explain technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong problem-solving skills
Team-oriented and collaborative mindset
Native-level Japanese (spoken and written)
Business-level English (bilingual preferred)
Nice to Have
Experience in large enterprise or global IT companies
Interest in security architecture and emerging technologies
Experience working with international teams
Experience in structured, governance-driven environments
