As a System Integration / Datacenter Technician at our Tokyo location, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation, deployment, and maintenance of our infrastructure. You will work closely with experienced colleagues across Europe and Asia and support mission-critical systems in a highly reliable environment.
Tasks
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of server hardware, network equipment, and related infrastructure in our datacenter
- Execution of racking, cabling, labeling, and documentation tasks according to ECSO standards
- Monitoring datacenter systems, network components, and environmental parameters
- Troubleshooting hardware, network, and system issues in collaboration with senior engineers (1st & 2nd level)
- Handling service requests and incidents via email and ticketing system
- Supporting system rollouts, migrations, and infrastructure expansion projects
- Ensuring compliance with physical security, safety, and operational procedures
- Documentation of workflows, incidents, and configuration changes
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems
- Strong interest in networks, cloud technologies, virtualization, and IT security
- First experience in datacenters, IT support, or system administration is a plus, but not required
- Ability to analyze problems, work in a structured manner, and follow technical procedures
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
- Reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new technologies
- Business-level English is required; Japanese is an advantage but not mandatory
- Ability to work on-site in Tokyo (shift or weekend work may occasionally be required)
