The
Finance Manager
plays a key role in overseeing the company's day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial processes. Reporting to the Group Director of Finance, this role focuses on budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and cost control to support business performance. The Finance Manager implements financial strategies, monitors key metrics, and provides data-driven insights to enhance operational decision-making. Additionally, this role ensures compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements while leading a finance team responsible for transactional and reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Develop and manage the company's budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Conduct financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Monitor financial performance, key metrics, and variance analysis against budget and forecasts.
• Support strategic decision-making with data-driven financial models.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare and oversee financial statements, management reports, and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and financial regulations.
• Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and financial regulations to ensure compliance.
• Establish internal financial controls to safeguard company assets.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

• Monitor cash flow and working capital to ensure financial stability.
• Manage banking relationships and financing arrangements.
• Optimize treasury operations, including cash forecasting and liquidity management.
• Implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial risks.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable to ensure smooth financial operations.

Business Support & Decision-Making

• Provide financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with department heads to optimize resource allocation and cost efficiencies.
• Evaluate financial implications of business initiatives, investments, and projects.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring initiatives.
• Drive process improvements to enhance financial operations and reporting efficiency.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and mentor the junior finance team members, ensuring professional development and high performance.
• Implement best practices in financial management and reporting.
• Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and compliance.
• Provide training and support to junior finance team members.
• Encourage collaboration between finance and other business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.

• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax compliance, and corporate finance.
• Experience in financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Proficiency in financial management systems and ERP software.
