Job Title: Next Gen Automotive IVI System Design Engineer
This is a critical role for an experienced IVI system design engineer to work on the development of next-generation automotive IVI systems.
About the Role:
- Design and manage IVI systems, collaborating with OEM stakeholders and Tier 1 suppliers.
- Develop system requirement specifications, conduct verification, reviews, and promote the work.
- Manage software development progress, quality verification, and Tier 1 supplier management.
- Investigate and report market defects.
- Support Tier 1 suppliers by creating/reviewing technical requirements, Q&A, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- IVI system design and management.
- Project management (software development progress, quality verification, Tier 1 supplier management, etc.).
- Investigation and reporting of market defects.
- Support to Tier 1 suppliers.
Requirements:
Must Have:
- Experience in designing systems/software.
- Ability to read and write basic English.
Good to Have:
- Communication skills with overseas team members in English.
- Experience working in IVI (In Vehicle Infotainment system) domain.
- Experience working in Trouble shooting on IVI product raised from the market.
- Knowledge of infotainment system features like Tuner, Navigation, Player, Vehicle functions, Projection Technologies, Diagnostics, Voice Recognition, FOTA, etc.
Language Skill:
- English TOEIC score more than 550 (recommended).
- Japanese Native Level.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum.
Location: Japan.
